Java architecture is a collection of components that explains every step of how a program works, compiles, and executes.
It combines the interpretation and compilation processes. It details all of the steps involved in writing a Java program. The Java Architecture details step by step process of compilation and execution of a program.
In Java, there is a compilation and interpretation process.
After the JAVA code is written, the JAVA compiler converts this code into byte code that can be understood by the machine.
After the creation of the bytecode, the Java virtual machine(JVM) converts it to the machine code (.class file).
And eventually, the machine runs that machine code.

COMPONENTS OF JAVA ARCHITECTURE
The three main components of Java architecture are:
Java Virtual Machine (JVM)
Java Runtime Environment (JRE)
Java Development Kit (JDK)
Java was originally designed for interactive TV, but the digital cable industry wasn’t ready for the technology.
